Both our ceremony and the reception following will be held at Holbrook Palmer Park in Atherton, California. Atherton is a small community between Menlo Park and Redwood City on the San Francisco Peninsula, about 30 minutes south of San Francisco International Airport, and about 30 minutes north of San Jose International Airport. (Atherton is also where Lori's allergist is located; he was perhaps the first to suspect a serious relationship, when Lori opted for allergy shots rather than get rid of Al or his cats, Annie and Elmo.)

Holbrook Palmer is a large, beautifully lanscaped, serenity-inducing park owned by the town of Atherton. It's open to the public seven days a week (though the ceremony and reception sites will be reserved for our use on October 6), so feel free to visit earlier in the week of the wedding if you want to explore the grounds or just see how long it takes to drive from your hotel to the park.

Ceremony date: Sunday, October 6, 2002
Ceremony time: 12:30pm
Ceremony location: In the courtyard next to the Main House. (If it rains, we'll move into the fireplace room in the Main House.)
Reception location: We'll have a late lunch reception immediately following the ceremony in the Pavillion, which is just past the courtyard.
